The green light is signalling that the device is properly connected to Wi-Fi and is communicating with the server. The signal lights do not serve any functional purpose and they can be turned off any time by simply pressing the back button once. The device will continue to work as long as it has power even when no lights are on so it does not disturb your sleep.

Download Circadia Track for iOS and Android, our tracker companion app.
If your Tracker loses connection to Wi-Fi for more than an hour, it will start dropping data. When this happens, your sleep session is incomplete and cannot be analysed. Make sure to have a strong and reliable Wi-Fi signal in your bedroom and try again the next night!
When you set your Tracker up for the first time, it may automatically download the latest firmware version. If your Wi-Fi is unstable, the download may fail and your Tracker may show red lights. Don’t worry, your tracker will automatically try again until the firmware has been downloaded. If it continues to happen, please follow the instructions in the next section.
If you are unable to set up the tracker or your tracker continues to show red lights, try the following:
1. Disconnect the Tracker from the power socket.
2. Without the Tracker plugged in, press and hold the button on the back of the device.
3. With the button pressed, connect the Tracker to power.
4. Release the button once the Tracker makes a sound and blue lights show.
5. The device will now reset to Factory mode and you can jump straight in to the Wi-Fi set-up process.
The Circadia C100 System can detect distinct signals from multiple people in the same room. When multiple people are detected, the device only tracks the person that's closest to the device and in front of it. The software feature enabling the monitoring of two people in the same bed simultaneously is currently in development, more details to be announced in Q2 of 2020.
Yes, each device emits a unique signal allowing two devices to be placed in the same room without any impact on accuracy. Refer to the Instructions For Use for guidance on where and how to place the device for optimal operation.
Using the Circadia C100 System is safe. The device relies on electromagnetic waves in the microwave frequency band emitting low power signals at a high speed and averaging them to recover a useful signal. The radiated output power of the C100 Sensor is 486x times below the limit of the applicable safety (ICNIRP) regulations; the emitted power levels of the C100 Sensor are far lower than those of commonly used electromagnetic transmitters, including: WiFi, Bluetooth, laptop WLAN, or mobile phone UMTS/3G. When compared to a standard 5 GHz WiFi router, the C100 Sensor is found to emit ~100x less power. The C100 Sensor is pending FDA 510(k) clearance as a medical device.
The Circadia C100 System cannot "see" the patient, it uses a form of low power radar that does not allow the recovery of a spatial picture of the user. The device is only capable of detecting motion such as respiration or body movement, without reconstructing any images.
No, the Circadia C100 System contains a microphone but this is only used to evaluate the noise level in the room and generates a single number every 30 seconds. No audio is recorded or transmitted.
